Identifying SLED IT Systems Ripe for Replacement, Renovation, and Modernization Before Solicitation

The failure of many state unemployment systems in 2020 was an obvious indicator of a family of SLED IT systems that were not equipped to handle the deluge of new unemployment insurance claimants. In our experience at CJIS GROUP, there are a number of key sources and items you’ll need to know in order to get a jump on opportunities before a solicitation:

  • Budgets, and other funding documents
  • Relevant legislation mandating changes
  • News regarding problems/failures or changes in strategy
  • Agency satisfaction with incumbents
  • Proper points of contact
