The American Rescue Plan & SLED Tech


With the passing of the American Rescue Plan of 2021 on March 11th, 2021, many SLED agencies will soon see an increase in available funds. Compared to the $139 Billion provided to State and Local Governments in the CARES Act, the American Rescue Plan boasts an increased allocation of $350 Billion. Of that $350 Billion, $219.8 Billion will be allocated to States and $130.2 Billion will be allocated to Cities and Counties. One key focus of these funds will be advancing technology in Education, and Health and Human Services.
