After a 27-year career in criminal justice and retiring as the CJIS Director for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, I have worked the past 12 years in the private sector with industry leaders such as Datamaxx, Northrop Grumman, Harris Corporation, Lockheed Martin, Motorola, Unisys and many others. From buyer to seller from business development manager to CEO, my experience has taught me how much time and money is spent on gathering the right information and meeting the right people to be successful in the Criminal Justice and Public Safety community. My experiences also demonstrated a need for a partnership between technologist and public sector agencies to create the winning team and solve critical problems.
